You may have received a collection letter from a lawyer containing an enclosure stamped “DRAFT” that looks like a court document.  One of my clients recently received such a collection letter dated July 9, 2009, that the lawyer sending the letter referred to as a “draft Statement of Claim”.  You can see a copy of this letter at the end of the following paragraph.
