On January 26, 2010, Mark's new book titled The Wolf At The Door: What To Do When Collection Agencies Come Calling was in bookstores across Canada. Gary Doyle, host of The Gary Doyle Show on Kitchener's 570 News had Mark as a guest on his show to talk about collection calls, consumer debt and Wolf At the Door. One caller asks if collectors from a collection agency will be sympathetic if you tell them you are trying to pay your outstanding account.
In this interview Mark speaks to a caller about whether or not a collector from a collection agency can show up at a person's door to demand payment of a debt. Host Gary Doyle asks Mark Silverthorn about a book deal that Mark recently signed with Canadian publisher McClelland & Stewart in connection with a new book that will be available in bookstores in early 2010.
In this interview Mark reviews some of a Ontario residents' rights when dealing with a collection agency. Host Gary Doyle speaks to Mark about Mark's efforts to successfully lobby the Ontario Government to enforce the current law prohibiting collection agencies from calling consumers on their cell phones to demand payment of a debt.
