Mark Silverthorn is a lawyer with offices in Kitchener, Ontario, and Buffalo, New York. For twelve years he worked as a collection lawyer and collection industry insider representing some of the largest collection agencies and creditors in Canada. Today Mark's Kitchener, Ontario-based law practice focuses on assisting Canadian consumers who are facing difficulties paying their bills. His new book, The Wolf At The Door: What To Do When Collection Agencies Come Calling, published by McClelland & Stewart, is his first book to be published.
Mark has been a guest on radio and television programs including Citytv's Breakfast Television, Goldhawk Fights Back and The Peter Silverman Show, and he has been quoted in major Canadian newspapers such as The Globe & Mail and the Toronto Star.
